Lara Mercado and Armando Valdés are your guides in Puerto Rico. They love their country and want you to love it as much as they do. (They also love each other... they're married, you know!) Lara studied art history and journalism. Armando studied architecture, government and law. They are the proud parents of two girls and a rescue dog, and live in San Juan.
They are both born storytellers and cultural entrepreneurs. Before launching FreeAudioGuides.com, they had already written three bestselling children's books and started a publishing company to promote the work of Puerto Rican kid lit authors and illustrators.
